After Your Visit

After your procedure, the Ayik + Berto team will provide you with a thorough list of instructions. If you experience severe pain or notice significant swelling following a root canal or other endodontic procedure, please feel free to contact our office.

If your procedure requires a prescription for pain medication, review the instructions for use before taking it. Consult your pharmacist if you have any concerns about drug interactions with your existing prescriptions.

Our office will provide you with clear instructions concerning eating and what to expect after your procedure. The Ayik + Berto team is available to answer any questions you have about your care.

Once your endodontic treatment is complete, it is important that you visit your general dentist in a timely manner to ensure best possible outcome. We will help patients reappoint with their general dentist with all reports available to that dentist online within 24 hours of the appointment.

We strive to be as transparent and helpful as possible to every patient when it comes to their dental and endodontic care. We offer a convenient Patient Portal where patients can view their treatment records, x-rays, and documentation for every visit to an Ayik + Berto office. The Patient Portal is also a quick and easy way to communicate with our team if you have questions about a referral, about your follow-up care, or about any other aspect of your endodontic treatment.
